Hectic Days!

Friday, October 28th, 2005

Sobrang busy ko at so pagod talaga this week na nakaraan ( Oct. 24 to 30/05 ). Imagine after work nagahahakot kami ni Kim ng mga gamit sa bago naming bahay then naglilinis after, kaya nakakatulog kami daling araw na 1:30 to 2:00am na. This day might be the last day ng paglilinis at paglilipat.

Salamat po! I’m so happy and so relieved dahil me and Kim has got a wider space of our own and a comfortable room. We’ve got a nice sala, a bigger kitchen and  a just right bathroom and toilet, wherein which I’m looking forward to be repaired and improved.

Salamat sa kashare naming couple, Gerard and Hermie, na without their initiative and encouragement siguro untill now nagtitiis pa kami d2 sa studio type small space namin sa Oakwood. Natutuwa rin ako sa friend naming si Jenn, she’s so  brave and so jolly kasi. Those were all the people that I’d like to be with. They are nice, generous at me mga sence of humor pa (salamat sa big Pizza and chocolate mousse last night!!!.) Bukas ako naman ang magluluto ng specialty ko ang walang kamatayang "spaghetti."

"yun lang, for today!! Last na ililipat itong CP today or tomorrow so we’ll be offline for maybe 1 day or two days. bye for now and have a nice day friends. God bless.

Thanks God for all the blessings!

I would like to take this opportunity to use this blog in expressing my sincere gratitude to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Also, to all the people who became instruments and channel of blessings in achieving those successful endeavours in our lives here in England.

"Without HIM in our lives we are nothing."

The following statements were all the major prayer request I’ve made since I came here in England on October 8, 2003.

1. Petitioned my daughter Kim as a work permit dependant visa holder on Aug.  18, 2004.

2. Kim’s enrollment in Parklane College to take up Advance English was free - Sept. ‘04 to June ‘05

3. Kim was able to get a job right away in British Home Dept Store on Oct. 2004, as part time sales lady.

4. Kim transferred to work in Morrisons Supermarket on Jan. 2005 as check out operator (cashier)

5. My son Jaffe got a job at East Avenue Medical center on Jan 2005.

6. I’ve got the second highest grade performance in the service at Vesper Road after my probation period last yr 2004. Competency Level.

7. Cetificate of Registration as Social Worker in UK was given on June 2005.

8. Recently promoted as Level 2 Social Care Development Worker in UBU Northern Life Care. Also given NVQ award increment started on August 2005.

9. Was able to win one soul for Christ on August 2005 in Seven Oaks Kent during our Church family camp.

10. Got 3 yrs. further leave to remain in UK visa from Sept. 24, 2005 to Sept. 24, 2008.

11. Kim has got 3 yrs further leave to remain in UK as well, but she’s got it in Liverpool immigration for a matter of 3 and 1/2 hrs only last October 14, 2005. Not even half day, which is so amazing.

Maraming marami pang pagpapala ang ibinibigay ni Lord  sa atin na kung minsan d ko o d na natin maisip at marealized dahil sa kaabalahan natin sa trabaho. But as a christian we must give back all the glory to HIM.

Yan ang pinakahighlight ( 1-11 statements) doon sa mga blessings na tinatanggap ng family ko, simula nang iconsider ko sya na pinaka-priority at center ng buhay ko. Tunay nga na "God is good all the time."

Working For Northern Life Care

What do I like about NLC?

Working for NLC ( now UBU) has been a great learning experience and a wonderful opportunity for a contract worker and a work permit holder like me.

I’m so grateful to our Lord Almighty because NLC became the channel of blessings for me and my daughter here in England. Without the help and support of this company these things wouldn’t be possible.

The organization has been supportive and concern not only to me and other contract workers but also to everyone who’s willing to be a member of the said team. What I like most in this company is the commitment of service to people and the way they adopt the concept of team working and empowerment for supporters at all levels of responsibility. Secondly, the health and safety training and staff development are very strong and have made me feel more equipped and confident in my role as social care development worker.

I am utterly grateful to NLC-UBU as they do not treat me as a just employee in the company but they have nurtured me as a family member as well.
