True Friends… another close friend

Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

True friends are hard to find, it’s true, but on the other hand there’s no other true friend as kind as Jesus. He is our invisible companion and friend, guide and protector wherever we go, isn’t HE? He gave his life for us, he’s our redeemer and friend.

However, I could say that here in Leeds, England, me and my daughter have found the so called real friends. They are in the person of Gerard and Hermie.I’ve known this couple thru my daughter Kim siguro less than a year now. This couple’s typically nice to us, with so much bright ideas and most importantly has a good heart. It was thier initiative to share this house with them where we lived now comportable and with privacy. Maraming maraming salamat sa inyo. I couldn’t find words to say thanks to you both, Gerard and Hermie. Since today is your Wedding Anniversary, I wish you all the best in life. Let our Lord God be the center of your relationship and if there will be trials and tribulations along the way, He is always there for you ready to resolve them. Remember this" Lord God is everybody’s friend."

Close Friend

I have also a friend whom I met in Jessop shop here in Leeds last year. She’s Linda Masilungan from Laguna. She told me her prayers has been answered because she met me then. She further said that "I have been praying for this to happen since I was new in Leeds and I knew nobody else." Linda and I, are at the same age level, the reason why we have the same thing in common, interests and values na medyo makaluma and so on.  But at least we open our minds that nowadays are very different and we are at the modern high technology age. Since then, Linda became close to me. She went with me and my daughter to a Family camp in Seven Oaks Kent, London for 5 days last August ‘05. From there she accepted Jesus Christ as her own personal Saviour and redeemer. After that, Linda , my daugther and me usually meet in our house once or twice a month to have a devotional meeting. We do share our experiences and problems we met along the way. We talked about them, applied the words of God to the issues, then meditate and pray for them. My most gratitude I give Him since these things happened because I know it is His will and grace. I thank our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ for He is so good, his love endures forever.

Back to work after a nice Holiday sa Pilipinas!

Well, ano pa nga ba? di back to normal, back to work, balik sa malamig na lugar in Leeds. "Lord, please give me plenty of english."Ha ha ha ha ha…he he he he… galing ng grammar no?
